More Info on Plantar Fasciitis Causes & Treatment:

Plantar fasciitis is one of the most common causes of heel pain and is a result of an inflammation of the plantar fascia, a thick band of fibrous tissue that runs across the bottom surface of the foot and connects the heel bone to the toes. It is considered a persistent strain injury and is characterized by a burning pain in the heel or arch of the foot. The pain caused by plantar fasciitis is usually most severe in the mornings when you first get out of bed, and gradually subsides as the day wears on. However, prolonged periods of standing can cause the pain to return.

How it is prevented and treated? The best way to prevent plantar fasciitis is to maintain a healthy weight, wear plantar fasciitis shoes, and perform exercises that strengthen, support, and stretch your arches and the plantar fascia. Depending on the cause and the severity of the condition, treatment options include stretching exercises, wearing special men’s orthopedic shoes for plantar fasciitis, men’s orthotic inserts and night splints. When shopping for men’s shoes for plantar fasciitis it’s important to find the very best men’s shoes for plantar fasciitis. Look for arch support shoes for men or arch support slippers for men that have specialized insoles and anatomical arch support. Men’s orthopedic shoes for plantar fasciitis like the men’s plantar fasciitis footwear found at Orthofeet come in a variety of types including men’s dress shoes for plantar fasciitis, men’s sneakers for plantar fasciitis, and men’s plantar fasciitis boot.

My dad, who has Plantar Fasciitis, absolutely loved these slippers which I got him as a Christmas gift. He used to have to wear his shoes around the house because they were the only things that provided proper support, so he was very happy to receive these!

-- Corey Ilnicki: Great Gift

I’ve tried many shoes and different insoles and by far these give the most relief for plantar fasciitis. I’m on my feet 12 hours a day. I would definitely recommend these.

--Jeffrey Whitaker: Plantar Fasciitis

I have plantar fasciitis and knee issues. I am enjoying walking comfortably again in my new high quality Ortho-Feet Baton Rouge Sand shoes. Thank you

-- Gary Tondorf-Dick: Walking Comfortable Again

These are the best walking shoes I ever wore, I have bouts of plantar fasciitis and these shoes are just what I needed .

-- Domenic Cantarella: Shreveport shoes

This is my second pair of three. Also bought the Broadway. My first pair, 'Jackson Square', which were size 10.5. felt like a half size to large, so bought size 10 this time. Fit much better, though this pair vs the Broadway feel a bit shorter, on the right foot. This hasn't been a problem so far. Both new pairs are the comfort anyone with painful feet, ( plantar fasciitis) should expect. Worth the money. Should have bought these shoes a long time ago.

-- ed jackman: Super Comfort

Extremely comfortable and diminishes the discomfort of my plantar fasciitis.

The appearance mimics dress shoes. Extemely elegant.

-- John Reckless: An excellent pair of shoes.
