We recommend you order the same size and width you normally order from other brands. Most of our shoes fit true to size. For some styles, we provide additional information on fit. If your shoe size falls between sizes or if one foot is larger than the other, we suggest ordering the larger size of the two. The included fitting spacers allow you to adjust the space inside the shoe should your two feet not measure the same. Our policy allows you to exchange them free of charge for another size, width or style that may be more appropriate.

You can reference the size chart here.
To determine what width to purchase, we recommend you order the same width you normally order from other brands. If you feel what you currently wear is too tight or does not fit well, you might consider going up in width.

OrthoFeet shoes are biomedically designed to promote good foot health and proper biomechanics of feet and body. A minimal heel to toe drop of approximately 1/2” and rocker bottom sole ensures pressure is dispersed from heel strike to toe lift, facilitating foot motion and minimizing joint movement.

Orthofeet shoes were meticulously designed by a team of podiatrists and biomechanical engineers to offer the best footwear solution for a comfortable and pain free fit and a variety of foot conditions. The design includes a rocker bottom ergonomic sole with a ½” heel to toe drop that evenly transfers weight and shock forces from when the foot strikes the ground at the heel and lifts off at the forefoot. This facilitates foot motion, minimizes ankle joint movement, and provides comfort, support & pain relief with every step.

Please call our team of experts who can help you with determining what style is best suited for your specific needs. Our team can be reached at 551-400-5400 from M-F 8:30am - 5:30pm EST.

Yes! All Orthofeet shoes (excluding open toe sandals) are designed with a removable orthotic insole to accommodate a custom orthotic, brace or AFO. Moreover, the shoes have a unique design with extra depth from heel to toe, and a wide, round and tall toe box. Many of the styles are available in wide, extra wide and even extra extra wide widths for a pressure free fit.

The answer depends on several factors that vary from person to person. How often the shoes are worn, the mileage put on them, a person’s weight, and specific gait pattern (ie. do you pronate, drag your feet) affect the lifespan of the shoe. Orthofeet shoes are constructed with high quality materials that are designed to withstand everyday usage and normal wear and tear. Some of our customers attest to the shoes holding up for several years. We also have a generous 6-month warranty should you encounter any unexpected issue with the shoes.

The little green horseshoe shaped device that is included in the shoe box is the Arch Booster. The Arch Booster allows you to enhance support under the arch, if needed.

To insert the Arch Booster, remove the orthotic insole from the shoe and place the Arch Booster all the way in the heel area. Place the orthotic insole back on top of the Arch booster.

OrthoFeet allows you to customize the inside of the shoes to your specific foot size. Since no two feet are the same, one foot might be a little shorter or narrower than the other. To ensure a perfect fit and prevent slippage, you may insert the fitting spacers that were included. that is not too big

All styles that are designed with a toggle lace also come with a regular lace inside the box. Please note that once you replace the toggle lace with a regular one, the shoes cannot be exchanged or returned. For additional help on how to switch out the laces, please contact our customer service department at 551-400-5400 from M-F 8:30am - 5:30pm EST.
