Orthopedic Slip-Resistant Shoes

Slip resistant shoes that protect you and support you through the whole shift. Orthofeet’s orthopedic slip resistant shoes are built for workers who need traction and comfort in equal measure: slip-resistant outsoles grip wet, greasy, and slick surfaces, while anatomical arch support, advanced cushioning, and a non-binding fit reduce the fatigue and joint strain of extended occupational wear. Available in men’s and women’s styles, in wide and extra-wide widths, backed by a 60-day wear test.

FAQs
  • The terms ‘non-slip’ and ‘slip-resistant’ are often used interchangeably, and they generally refer to the same type of footwear designed to provide traction and reduce the risk of slipping on slippery surfaces.
  • Not necessarily. A rubber outsole can be non-slip, but it can also be designed to provide advanced grip and excellent stability without being non-slip. Additionally, it can also offer no grip at all. It all depends on the tread design of the rubber sole, its depth and the quality of the rubber used.

Still, a rubber sole does provide better traction compared to other materials, like leather or synthetic materials.

  • Just like any other shoe, non-slip shoes should generally have a secure and comfortable fit, neither too tight nor too loose. It's important to find the right balance to ensure proper support, stability and comfort when you choose your non-slip shoes.
  • Slip Resistant Shoes That Deliver on Both Counts

Workers in healthcare, food service, warehousing, manufacturing, and other high-hazard environments know that their shoes need to do two things: keep them safe on the surface they are working on, and keep their body manageable after eight or more hours of being on it. Slip-resistant footwear typically addresses the first requirement. Orthofeet orthopedic slip resistant shoes are built to deliver on both simultaneously: a slip-resistant outsole for surface traction and an orthopedic interior for the sustained body-level comfort that demanding occupational environments require.

Orthopedic Construction Inside Every Slip-Resistant Pair

Every Orthofeet orthopedic slip resistant shoe combines a slip-resistant outsole with an orthopedic interior built for extended wear. The slip-resistant outsole uses tread patterns and rubber compounds engineered to maintain grip on wet, oily, and slick surfaces, providing the surface traction that high-hazard environments demand. Inside, anatomical arch support and Arch Booster technology maintain proper foot alignment throughout the shift, controlling the overpronation and postural fatigue that compound over hours of standing and moving on hard surfaces. Advanced shock-absorbing cushioning reduces the impact on the feet, knees, and lower back with every step. A wide, roomy toe box prevents compression over long hours, and the non-binding seamless interior eliminates friction and pressure points. Removable insoles accommodate custom orthotics, and wide and extra-wide widths are available.
