Therapeutic Shoes 1 + 1 (8 Hour Online / One Day Hands-On) Educational
Course.
This is a great way for non-credentialed support staff to become ABC®
Certified Shoe Fitters.
An ABC® Certified Fitter of Therapeutic shoes is an individual trained and qualified in the provision of non-custom therapeutic shoes and non-custom diabetic multi-density inserts. This course fulfills the educational requirement for ABC® certification. You are then ready to prepare for the test if you are not already certified.
The 1+1 program consists of an eight-hour online component comprised of Flash-based narrated PowerPoint lectures, and comprehensive lab assignments followed by an eight-hour live class on Wednesday covering the hands-on and lab components. It is ideal for the busy professional that has intermediate computer skills. A high-speed Internet connection is required. The Internet portion must be completed before attending the class in Orlando.
